Andres Aloi

Andres Aloi is an Argentine screenwriter and director. His notable work began with the 2018 film "Re Loca," starring Natalia Oreiro, for which he served as the screenwriter. The film was a success, attracting 860,000 viewers and earning him a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Sur Awards. In 2019, he wrote and co-produced the short film "Sangre Azul," which competed at the Sitges Film Festival. That same year, he took on multiple roles as director and actor in the feature film "Platos Voladores," set to be released in 2024. In 2021, "Camila Comes Out Tonight" premiered, a film he co-wrote with Inés María Barrionuevo, which was selected for the official competition at the San Sebastián Festival. He also contributed as a screenwriter to the series "Alt-Esc" on Cablevisión Flow, which debuted in 2021. In 2022, he wrote and directed the short film "El Sueño de la Mariposa," which participated in various genre festivals including Fantaspoa and Macabro FICH. From 2016 to 2022, he worked at Aeroplano S.A., a film production company, as the Head of Development.
