Anna Guseva
Anna Guseva is a theater and film director both based in Berlin. Born in Kharkov, Ukraine, she graduated as a director, fine arts and acting in Moscow, where she was successfully developing those three career tracks. Anna made her directorial debut with the short film "Not Alice," exclusively released for PAP Magazine in Milan. Another film, "What Bothers Me," was shortlisted at the Berlin Commercial. In 2021, she was invited to create video art for the "Sebastian im Traum" project curated by the musicAeterna collective (Saint Petersburg). With an unique artistic creative approach, a strong expertise in contemporary art and long-term business experience in a fashion industry Anna started as an opera director in 2021 by developing Carl Orff’s opera “De temporum fine comoedia” with 186 participants on stage in collaboration with conductor Teodor Currentzis. During three years of her work, she successfully staged 5 opera projects including Stravinsky’s “Persephone”, “Symphony of Psalms”, musical performance ‘Youkali’ dedicated to Kurt Weill and “Passion” by Pascal Dussapin.
