Arseniy Gonchukov

A writer, a director and a producer of independent low-budget cinema. He films on his own – without any support from the government or funds – using his own money and friends’ help. He has filmed six five full-length feature films and a number of short films. Among them one can find hard hitting social dramas and experimental films. He has got more than twenty prizes from international film festivals, including Grand Prix. His films have been shown in the USA, Germany, France, Czech Republic, India, Australia, Iraq, Iran and many other countries. He is a participant of the program «Focus on World Cinema» of the oldest review of Canada - 77th Montreal Film Festival.
