Felix Nguyen

Felix Nguyen was born in Erfurt, Germany, in 1992 and grew up in Munich, where he also went to school. His father had migrated from Vietnam to Europe. After his graduation, Felix followed his passion for nature and moved to the huge eco-village “Sieben Linden” in Saxony-Anhalt as volunteer. Experience in horticulture and forestry deepened his passions for the work on the soil, with the elements. His contact with plants and animals intensified. At farms in Germany he completed the four-year “free biological-dynamic apprenticeship” as a gardener. During this time, he came into contact with anthroposophy. Thereafter he followed his long-cherished childhood dream of exploring the life of primitive peoples, as long as the (post-)modern age of industrial-technological progress had not yet driven them into adaptation or extinction. Felix lived with Tuvan nomads in Mongolia, dug with Vietnamese mountain farmers, sailed with Loa islanders, meditaded with Zen-Buddhist monks. His world views diversified with each new encounter. After his trip through Asia, he settled in the Black Forest in Dogern in Germany, where he works as a gardener. Mr. Nguyen also teaches art and dance to children. Felix is dedicated to his versatile art projects, including dance, poetry, and film. FILMOGRAPHY CORE OF A NATURE (dance short), Germany 2023
