Herve Faula

Passionate about music and cinema, I have always loved telling stories. Feeling closer to music, I pursued studies in sound engineering and later specialized in sound post-production. At the same time, I composed music for numerous audiovisual projects. My experience as a sound engineer on various films rekindled my desire to tell stories and pushed me to want to become a director. At the end of 2009, I created my production company, 'Shiny Production.' I started by directing music videos for various artists, moving on to commercials and corporate films. In 2016, I directed my first fiction piece, a series prologue, which I also wrote and produced. Since then, I have directed several short films that have won awards at festivals around the world, as well as the first five episodes of a web series. I met a screenwriter, Ozturk Ozkan, with whom I work on most of my projects. In 2020, we co-wrote my first feature film, titled 'Chez Soi,' which I shot right afterward as a self-produced film. I am passionate about continuing to create and evoke emotions.
