Jason Anthony Fisher

Jason Anthony Fisher was born and raised in Ohio. He has lived in Hollywood and Las Vegas, but now makes his home in the Greater Atlanta area to be closer with family. He began as an actor/writer, but has developed other skill sets over the years and is now a writer, director, producer. He is now a multi-nominated, and award-winning writer/director/producer. He has devoted a lot of time to the craft of screenwriting and developing a range in genres. Most recently He wrote a short dark comedy titled True Declaration of Independence which was the winner for short dark comedy screenplays at the 2019 Atlanta comedy film festival. Plus, his epic action feature screenplay titled Fable of the Jade Tiger was the 2019 Winner of the Best Action Screenplay Award at Iron DragonTv Action Fest. Fable of the Jade Tiger was also nominated for best action screenplay at the 2018 World Series of Screenwriting contest and was nominated for best feature screenplay at the 2019 Independent Talents International Film Festival, and nominated for best feature screenplay for all genres at the 2018 Nevada International Film Festival. His short script titled Mob Tour was nominated for best short screenplay at the 2019 Independent Talents International Film Festival. His crime drama screenplay titled Beating Vegas won the 3rd place prize at the 2017 screenplay contest of the Nevada International Film Festival in Las Vegas. His short film Plea or Not to Plea, was nominated for best short film at both the 3rd annual Marietta International Film Festival in Atlanta in 2017, and the 6th Annual Georgia Latino Film Festival in 2017, then won the Gold Reel Award at the 2017 Nevada International Film Festival in Las Vegas. In 2015, he won the Platinum Reel Award for his film A.K.A. The Surgeon at the Nevada International Film Festival. Jason has studied the art of writing for the screen under several of the leading gurus, who have either studied or taught at prestigious institutions: Pilar Allesandra (Taught at UCLA's Extension program), Wendal Thomas (Adjunct screenwriting Professor at UCLA), Karl Iglesias (Cornel University), Blake Snyder (Georgetown University), and Daniel P. Calvisi (NYU).
