Steven Keith Bogart
Steven Bogart is playwright, screenwriter, stage director and visual artist. He received the Massachusetts Cultural Council fellowship award in playwriting for The Last Skywriter in the Universe, and I was a 2009 Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant recipient in playwriting for his play, Pigcat which also received the Holland New Voice Award at the 2009 Great Plains Theater Conference. His play, Alice in War was chosen for an equity showcase production at Arielle Topper’s Summer Play Festival, NYC in 2007, and received a production at the Boston Conservatory of Music in 2016. His play, Conspiracy of Memory was produced by Boston Theater Works in 2004. He was an invited participant of Gary Garrison’s Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive, and Ilana Brownstein’s, Freedom Art Theater Retreat where he worked with other playwrights, designers and dramaturges. His ten minuter play, Men and the Moon won Curious Arrow’s Lucid Dream Festival. His screenplay, Blood’s Child has won several screenplay competitions and was optioned by True Friends Productions in LA.
