Veronica Font
A sound expert, Verònica Font began her career as a technician in 1989 and, to date, has worked on over forty film productions (fiction and documentary) as a sound designer, both in shoots and post-production. At the same time, her curiosity for editing, directing and the desire to explore the language of sound more extensively have led her to film school and, thanks to some of the people she has met there, she's become interested in telling her own stories and showing reality as she sees it. Some of her notable works as director are: La Miranda, recuerdos de nuestra casa (2003), 7Històries i 1Ciutat (2009), Kilian Jornet, el comptador de llacs (2013) and Les mans d'Alícia (2017). She's currently preparing her first fiction feature film, Roberto y los comediantes, which has already received a grant for audiovisual projects from the ICEC, as well as a grant from CREA-MEDIA-2021-European Co-development. She's also given classes at Pompeu Fabra University and ESCAC, and for several years has been collaborating with the "Cinema en curs" project by the A Bao A Qu association.
