Nobody can understand you when you're 14. A nordic small-town story about ice cream, friendship and monsters. Viggo is a withdrawn 14-year-old. This would have been difficult enough without having to witness the disintegration of his family, and he doesn’t feel at home among his classmates either, and he seeks refuge in his imagination, particularly interested in the supernatural. In the midst of this loneliness, help appears from an unexpected place: Vincent, a mature ice cream seller, who sees himself in the young boy, and the two form an unusual friendship. However, Vincent carries his own secrets, and the more Viggo digs, the less willing he is to tell. Is Vincent really just a well-meaning stranger, or is there something behind his kindness? Vincent is a coming-of-age tale that plays with the typical expectations from the horror genre in a charming, low-key way, yet never quite lets up on an underlying uneasiness...
