Walking through the streets of villages and cities in Asia, you see people at work. Many of the work takes place outdoors and in public, or you can look through the wide-open doors to the workshops or stores. Impressions of everyday life. sometimes working is easy, sometimes it is hard. some workers are too young other are too old. children and women earn less, so they get bad work. some work is fun, some work is pain. maybe some like their work, maybe some hate their work some work is despised other work is respected work like in the old days or as in modern times.

REVIEWS

This is a type of documentary that, although it has a very specific audience, can be very interesting if you connect with it. At first, it may seem excessively long, but if you stop to observe and reflect on what you see, it is very attractive. Apparently simple, but very deep. I really liked the musical montage at the end, and the discovery that the images were shot over the course of no less than nine years. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Loved it ! A short documentary by JENS NAGELS Furnished with a lot of details and various locations, the many filmed sequences of people working hard tell us about the vibrant economic and beautiful one of Asia wich reminds me very very much of my continent : Africa, very similar vibes there ! It looked like in the beginning i thought it was in vietnam or china mostly maybe ? but after that, i saw the exapansion and the different locations coming in like India 16 mn 40 is my favorite moment or at least one of mine, loved also the way the women gets into the truck in the end. The addition of music in the end is a nice touch. My bad point : the robot text spoke woman in the beginning, a real person would have been way better i think.
