In the middle of Western Sahara desert, where no water, no trees, no animals live but a bunch of refugees, struggling in poverty to survive the harsh habitat, the least of the problem one might face is the environmental crisis. But indeed it is here that emerges the common cause to the world modern sickness : poverty and environmental crisis are two sides of the same coin: “We have to ralize that the water crisis, that the environmental crisis, it is not a cause, the cause is the civilization model we built and what we have to change is our way of living ! Development cannot be against happiness, it has to be in support of human happiness, of love on earth, of human relations, for taking care of children, for having friends, for having the essential ! When we fight for the environment, the first environmental element we have to protect is called human happiness !” - Pepe Mujica

REVIEWS

A micro-reflection that deeply touches the viewer. A powerful narration, accompanied by powerful images, that does not need more than a minute to transmit what it wants to tell. Well deserved awards.

Mirco short movie by CESARE MAGLIONI wich alerts us on the dangers of climate crisis in the Western sahara Beautiful first shot and mostly impressive, the dust storm there is scary I honestly wonder how people are able to live in such an environmental like this I hope its gets better for everyone there. The music is a nice and touching addition.
